Start Meaningful Conversations with Tell Me More

Every question we ask one another is a chance to connect—an opportunity to explore ideas, share experiences, and be surprised by what we discover. But sometimes it can be challenging to find the right place to begin—the question that allows us to move beyond “How are you?” to dive into new and wonderful ways of understanding each other.

Our conversation-starter game Tell Me More is filled with insightful questions to help you start thoughtful discussions with just about anyone. Inside, you’ll find a collection of spirited conversation starters to help you uncover facts and reflections and, in doing so, grow in appreciation for the people around you.

“This card set was inspired by the realization that no matter how deeply we know someone, there is always more to learn, discover, and understand,” says the set’s author M.H. Clark. “There’s so much joy in finding out something new about someone we love. And there’s so much joy in deepening our connections. This card game is created to help us do both.”

Tell Me More is perfect for all kinds of relationships—whether you’re asking questions of your partner, parent, sibling, or friend. Pull the set out at dinner to engage with your teenager, use it during a family game night, choose cards to bring along on a long road trip, or text the questions back and forth with your partner throughout the day. You can even utilize the enclosed instructions to turn the questions into a game for points.

These questions were written to encourage people to talk about things they might not always discuss,” says Clark. “It’s my hope that people who use this game with loved ones will discover new things about each other, and a more profound sense of authentic connection too.”

Try out a few sample questions with your family and friends and see where these creative conversation starters take you:

  • What moment of your life do you wish you could live again?
  • If you could ask your future self a question, what would it be?
  • If you didn’t worry about the consequences or what other people thought, what’s something you would love to do?
  • When you look back at your life so far, what's something you're surprised you did, chose, tried, or became?
